
Two dead were stabbed in central Ukraine and the attacker was arrested

Two people were killed and eight others were wounded, including a boy, in a knife attack carried out by a person who was arrested in central Ukraine on Saturday, according to police.
The Ukrainian National Police said that a person carrying a knife attacked people randomly in the central city of Kryvyi Rih, causing the death of two people and wounding eight others, including an eight-year-old boy.
It reported that the attacker was arrested, noting that he was a local resident, and he was 37 years old.
No further details were available about the assault or its causes.
Last May, seven people were shot dead on the sidelines of a fishing expedition in central Ukraine, in a rare mass murder in the former Soviet republic.
