Britain requires those coming from the UAE to undergo quarantine
The British government obligated those coming from the UAE to the territory of the United Kingdom to be subject to quarantine, against the background of a significant increase in infections with the Coronavirus in the Arab country.
The British Ministry of Transport said, on Monday, that England had removed the name of the UAE from the list of travel corridors after the worrying increase in “Covid-19” cases there.
The ministry added that from Tuesday, travelers entering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland from the UAE will have to remain in self-isolation.
In recent days, the UAE recorded record highs of daily infections with the Coronavirus, as this indicator touched the level of 3000 cases, but the number of deaths did not increase and ranges between 3 and 6.
The general number of recorded infections with the virus in the country is 232982 cases, including 711 deaths.
