The Philippine authorities have confiscated 7 roosters, in connection with their involvement in the killing of an officer, in the province of Samarn in the northern Philippines.
The officer was killed after he stormed a cockfighting ring, and was exposed to a sharp razor blade, usually attached to the leg of the rooster, according to the American network CNN, Wednesday.
The death of the officer was announced upon his arrival at the hospital, which is the first time a policeman had died while trying to stop the cockfight.
